The brief:

Woodside needed support with the content, design and data analysis for their first public HSE report. The brief indicated that the organisation would compile the information, hand it over to a marketing/design house and the report would land with stakeholders some two months later. Futureye’s proposal helped the organisation appreciate how the undertaking of a company’s first public HSE report is a complex process that requires a number of additional stages, including stakeholder engagement at an early stage.

The result:

Futureye assisted Woodside in overcoming conflicting internal perspectives of the scope, content and transparency of the report, as well as maintaining a lack of bias in the report, acknowledging both negatives and positives. The client came to understand the necessity of ensuring stakeholder engagement and internal alignment occurs before any drafting or data collection takes place, leading to a report that effectively identified issues of concern for the company while adding to a reputation of transparency and accountability.
