Katy Cronin has worked in media and strategic communications for more than two decades with particular expertise in international relations, development and human rights. She currently works with a range of clients including high profile individuals, foundations, NGOs, private sector and multilateral institutions. Katy was previously Communications Director and interim CEO at The Elders, a group of global leaders founded by Nelson Mandela and chaired by Desmond Tutu, and also served as Director of Communications for the ONE campaign formed by Bono and Bob Geldof. She has held senior communications roles at International Crisis Group and Crisis Action – both focused on conflict prevention and resolution. An astute analyst and polished writer, Katy started her career in media as a radio reporter with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, winning a national journalism award for her coverage of the Kosovo war in 1999. Australian by birth, now living in London, Katy speaks conversational French, German and a little Bahasa Indonesia
